We offer a 30-day return window. You have exactly 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

To qualify for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must have all original tags attached and be in the original packaging.
  • You must provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.
  1. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items are excluded from our return policy:

At Newyorkshelter, we are committed to a transparent pricing model. We offer Free Return Shipping for all eligible returns.

  • No restocking fees will be charged.
  • No return shipping fees will be charged to the customer.
  • Newyorkshelter covers 100% of the costs associated with returning the item, regardless of the reason for the return (e.g., buyer’s remorse, wrong size, or defective product).
  1. RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your order number and the specific reason for your return.
  3. Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label and detailed instructions on how to send your package.
  4. Items sent back to our facility without prior authorization will not be processed.
  1. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must contact us at hotline@newyorkshelter.com within 7 days of delivery. We will prioritize these cases and provide a free replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you.

  1. EXCHANGES

The most efficient way to exchange an item is to return the original item through our standard process. Once your return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item. Alternatively, you can contact our support team to request a direct exchange, and we will provide free shipping for the replacement item.

  1. REFUND TIMELINE

Upon receiving your returned package at our warehouse, we will conduct an inspection within 1 to 2 business days.

  • Approval: If the item passes inspection, your refund will be approved immediately.
  • Processing: The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Bank Processing Time: Most banks or credit card issuers process refunds within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Total Timeframe: You can expect the entire process to be completed within 5 business days from the date we receive your return.
  1. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel an order, please email hotline@newyorkshelter.com as soon as possible. We can only cancel orders that have not yet reached the fulfillment stage. If the order has already been shipped, you must wait to receive the item and then follow our return process.

  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address at checkout. Newyorkshelter is not liable for items delivered to an incorrect address provided by the user. Approved returns must be postmarked and shipped back to us within 14 days of the return approval date.
