We currently provide shipping services exclusively within the United States. This includes:

  • All 50 U.S. states (including Alaska and Hawaii).
  • APO / FPO / DPO military addresses (subject to carrier restrictions). We do not offer international shipping at this time.
  1. SHIPPING CARRIERS

Orders from newyorkshelter.com are dispatched through reliable national carriers to ensure safe delivery. Depending on the package size and destination, we utilize:

  • USPS (First Class, Priority Mail)
  • UPS (Ground, 3-Day Select)
  • FedEx (Ground, Home Delivery)
  • DHL eCommerce (for final-mile delivery via USPS)
  1. ORDER HANDLING TIME

Before an order is handed over to the carrier, it undergoes a fulfillment process. Our handling time is 1 to 2 business days (Monday through Friday). This process includes order verification, quality inspection, packaging, and label application.

  1. TRANSIT TIME

Once your order has been picked up by the carrier, the estimated transit time is 3 to 7 business days. While most orders arrive within this window, deliveries to rural areas, Alaska, or Hawaii may occasionally take slightly longer due to logistical factors.

  1. TOTAL ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME

The total time from order placement to delivery at your doorstep is generally 4 to 9 business days (comprising 1-2 days of handling and 3-7 days of transit).

We offer a straightforward flat-rate shipping structure for all domestic orders:

  • Standard Shipping Fee: $6.99 Flat Rate This fee applies to all 50 U.S. states regardless of the number of items in your cart, package weight, or dimensions. There are no hidden fees or unexpected surcharges at checkout.
  1. BUSINESS HOURS AND CUT-OFF TIMES

Our fulfillment team operates during the following hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
  • Saturday – Sunday: Closed Orders placed after our 5:00 PM EST cut-off time on Friday or during the weekend will begin processing on the following Monday.
  1. ORDER TRACKING

Upon shipment, an automated notification will be sent to your email address. This email will include your tracking number, the assigned carrier, and a direct link to track your package’s progress. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for tracking information to update in the carrier’s system.

  1. ADDRESS ACCURACY AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address (including apartment or suite numbers). Newyorkshelter is not liable for packages lost or misdelivered due to incorrect information provided at the time of purchase. If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs to resend the item.

  1. DELIVERY ISSUES: MISSING OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at hotline@newyorkshelter.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund. Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows “delivered” but you have not received the package, please check with neighbors and your local post office. If the package remains missing after 24 hours, contact us, and we will assist in filing a carrier claim.

  1. MULTIPLE-ITEM SHIPMENTS

To ensure the fastest possible delivery, orders containing multiple items may occasionally be shipped in separate packages. You will receive unique tracking numbers for each shipment at no extra cost.

Please note that delivery times may be extended during peak holiday seasons (e.g., Christmas, Black Friday, Labor Day) due to high carrier volumes. We recommend ordering early during these periods to ensure timely arrival.
